Favorite Fall Memory

“Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree.” -Emily Bronte

The cool crisp wind blows on a nice sunny day as my family and I make our way to the Pigeon Roost Farm to enjoy a family day together. I look around the farm surrounded by animals in the small rustic barns, corn mazes, tractors in different colors, a playground for the kids, a few food stands, and pumpkins in any size laying on the green grass. My mom and I smell the scent of hot apple cider filling the air. I could already think of the taste, the sweetness of the apple while this warm scent reminded me of a fall apple pie. My younger sister Bryn and my dad Michael make their way to the corn mazes as they attempt to make their way through the maze. I hear them stepping on the dried corn stalks while they turned around and out of this craziness for them. Before we leave, we all find the biggest pumpkin for us to carve when we get home.

This is one of favorite fall memories because fall is a great time of year and how it explodes a burst of beauty, holidays throughout this season, cool brisk breezy days, enjoying time with family, pumpkin patches, and many more that happen in this wonderful season.
